Is it safe for my family and pets?
We recommend that humans and pets stay off the treated area for one hour or until product is dry, then you can enjoy your yard mosquito free!
How often does it need to be done?
We complete treatments approximately every 30 days for seasonal customers.
After we spray, allow up to 48 hours for the treatment to take effect.
On average, the first treatment is able to eliminate 85% of your mosquito population and by the second treatment over 90% of those pesky mosquitos.
Will this harm bees, butterflies, and other pollinators?
At Backwoods Mosquito we love our pollinators! As licensed and trained professionals we practice proper application techniques to avoid harm to bees and other pollinators. When our product is applied in the appropriate manner there is minimal risk to bees and other pollinators.
How does it work?
The treatment forms a barrier between you and the mosquitos. The product kills adult mosquitos in the area and keeps new ones from coming in. The barrier treatment is applied to the brush and trees surrounding your property.
What happens if it rains will the treatment get washed off?
Our product is rain fast after 24 hours. If rain is predicted within 24 hours we will reschedule your treatment.
